The "Boutique Hotel Placa" Krk is located in the very centre of the old town of Krk, 20 metres from the main square and only 250 metres from the beach. The modern interior beautifully matches the warm old stone house and surrounding environment.
A well-preserved Roman mosaic serves as a reminder of the Roman spa that used to be on this spot. The hotel is pleasantly furnished and has five comfortable rooms. You can have the breakfast of your choice, and our kind and committed staff will do their best to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one.
For visitors arriving buy car, parking is provided near the hotel, while for those arriving by plane at Krk airport we organize a shuttle service to the hotel.

Krk is the largest Adriatic island and is situated in the north of the Adriatic Sea. It is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which provides swift and easy access by car. It also has an international airport, while the marina at Punat is the largest facility of its kind in Croatia.
The town of Krk is situated in the southwest of the island and is the seat of a Roman Catholic diocese. Krk is one of the oldest places in the Adriatic, dating back to the 1st century B.C., since when it has been continuously inhabited. The remains of Roman architecture can be found throughout the town, such as a mosaic showing Triton surrounded by dolphins, and are also found on the ground floor of our hotel. The fortifications and Frankopan Palace close to the Kamplin Park have also been preserved, and one section of the walls was built during the five-hundred-year rule of the Venetian Republic.
Krk is one of the destinations with the longest tourist season in Croatia, which makes it attractive for both individual visitors and groups throughout the year.

Besides accommodation we will be happy to organize much more for you. For those who prefer active holidays we recommend: scuba diving, water skiing, wake boarding, tennis, quad and bicycle tour on completion of 130 km trails, visiting cave Biserujka, boat charter, excursion on luxury yacht, excursion to Gorski kotar and Plitvice Lakes, renting VW beetle convertible...
After burning calories we will recommend you restaurants and konobas (authentic Dalmatian wine cellars that serves authentic meals) that will serve you best Mediterranean food, wines and rakija (grappa, schnapps). As well as hedonism, we are organizing medical tourism with excellent dentist, physiatrist for kids and yoga courses. If needed we will organise transport to desired destinations, and all of this at very affordable prices.

Hemmagjord yoghurt, ägg och bacon, bröd och allt vad man nu ville ha och i en fantastisk miljö, typ kombinerad restaurang/bar/nattklubb/trädgård omgiven av den gamla stadsmuren och med katakomber en trappa ner. You could not ask for friendlier or more helpful receptionists, with lots of recommendations for restaurants and day trips. Breakfast is served across the street at Volsonis restaurant, where again the staff are incredible. The restaurant is situated in a secret garden where it is lovely to enjoy the morning sun. Highly recommend the chocolate pancakes! The room itself is stunning, decorated in whites, wood and stone giving it a very crisp and clean feel. The room is cleaned and bed linen and towels are changed everyday. This was the only hotel out of five we stayed at in Croatia fitted with air con. We stayed here for four days and did not want it to end. Just fantastic!”
